What AIPAC Is Telling Congress on Biden's Iran Negotiations

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the most influential pro-Israel lobby group in Washington, was perhaps the most significant political avatar for opposition to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, devoting significant resources to scuttling support for the Obama administration’s agreement, which was also heavily criticized by then Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

While it has kept a conspicuously lower profile as the Biden administration attempts to revive the agreement following then-President Donald Trump’s unilateral withdrawal from the deal in 2018, AIPAC’s opposition remains. It continues to advocate for a significantly different U.S. approach to curb Iran’s nuclear program.

UK Police Bill Is an Attack on the Rights of Everyone Who Has a Cause They Believe In

By Jun Pang

Just over a year ago, disturbing reports began trickling out: the British government was preparing an attack on the right to protest. The right through which we won many of the things we take for granted today—from voting rights to marriage equality—which allows all of us to stand up against injustice. Now we know the government is taking a sledgehammer to this right, smashing everyone’s ability to stand up to power.

In February, we at Liberty obtained proof that a bill was coming that intended to retain lockdown-like restrictions on our protest rights. Throughout the pandemic, we warned that “crisis is the ground on which long-term erosion of our rights and freedoms are often seeded”.

The attorney representing lawyer John Eastman, who counseled President Donald Trump amid his election fraud claims effort, has told the Jan. 6th committee his client is asserting his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination.

Lawyer Charles Burnham revealed the remarkable information in a letter to panel chair Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), in a week that marked another Trump loyalist, former DOJ official Jeffrey Clark, suggesting he intended to take the Fifth.

Kevin McCarthy Slams 'America First' Reps As GOP Infighting Grows

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said that debates about Republican Reps. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Paul Gosar of Arizona, and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia are distractions that will cause difficulties for Republicans as the party focuses on gaining back the House in next year’s midterm elections.

“It's things we would not want to deal with,” McCarthy said at a press conference on Friday when asked if the three members are distractions for Republicans heading into 2022.

Doctor Banned For Questioning Efficacy of Masks Wins High Court Case

A doctor in the UK who was banned from using social media by the General Medical Council for claiming “masks do nothing” has won his case in the High Court.

Dr. Samuel White was slapped with and 18 month ban by the GMC after he posted a video to Instagram and Twitter in June questioning the efficacy of face coverings.

In the video, White said why he could no longer tolerate working in his previous roles because of the “lies” around the NHS and the government’s response to the pandemic, which were “so vast” he could no longer “stomach” them.

White also committed the ultimate sin of remarking, “masks do nothing” to stop the spread of COVID, despite this being the consensus medical opinion at the start of the pandemic before it mysteriously switched almost overnight.

Democrats see Christmas goal slipping away

The goal for Democrats was to pass President Biden's sweeping climate and social spending package by Christmas, but that is slipping away as the Senate bogs down in one time-consuming fight after another.

Democratic senators are growing increasingly doubtful that Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) will be able to meet his Christmas deadline because several major disagreements are holding up the Build Back Better Act, including a fight over lifting the cap on state and local tax (SALT) deductions.

Schumer told reporters last week that his goal is to bring the $2 trillion bill to the floor the week of Dec. 13, but that timeline will be tough to meet because negotiators have a lot left to work out and Congress will also have to raise the debt ceiling by Dec. 15, which will distract attention from Biden’s agenda.

Dems plot escape from Biden’s poll woes

Rep. Jared Golden is facing one of the toughest reelection battles in the country. One thing he says doesn’t keep him up at night, though, is President Joe Biden’s sinking approval rating.

“I really don't care at all. I've got my own approach to doing things,” the Maine Democrat said, adding that he handily outran Biden in Trump country. “What I know about his approval ratings right now versus my own is that I'm outpacing him by about 30 points."

Golden's nonchalance is rare.

Most Democrats are worried that Biden’s flagging polling numbers — with an approval hovering in the low 40s — will lead to a thrashing at the ballot box. With historical headwinds and a GOP-dominated redistricting process already working against them, they fear that unless Biden pulls out of his current slide, Congress will be handed to the Republicans in next year's midterms.

The Left immediately made up stories about the group and their ties to “right-wing” extremists and “white supremacy.”

AOC Slammed For Denying 'Factual Crimes'

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was denounced by Republicans and business leaders after an interview where she cast doubt on whether rampant smash-and-grabs are actually taking place. "A lot of these allegations of organized retail theft are not actually panning out," Ocasio-Cortez announced in an interview with The Washington Times last week.

"I believe it's a Walgreens in California cited it, but the data didn't back it up," she went on.

The remarks ignited pushback from retail leaders and Republican lawmakers, including from Walgreens.

Democrats Wield The Censure Weapon Against Immigration Patriots. Will Republicans Follow Suit?

Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert might be the next Republican to lose her committee assignments. Her crime: joking that Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar is a member of the “Jihad Squad.” Boebert apologized, but the Democrats apparently still plan to censure [Dems’ dicey decision: Punish Boebert or not?, by Rachel Bade, Politico, November 29, 2021].

Democrats have already censured two other Republicans—Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar—for similar minor offenses. While the vast majority of Republicans oppose the punishments, as the minority party, they’re powerless to stop them. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy vows retaliation if the GOP regains the majority. The obvious question: Are Republicans up to the challenge?

Ocasio-Cortez Blasted for Dismissing ‘Organized Retail Theft’ Crimewave

Openly socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been getting blasted for attempting to downplay the smash-and-grab crimewave that has been destroying retail outlets in recent months.

Speaking with the Washington Times last week, Ocasio-Cortez dismissed the allegations of “organized retail theft” as a hoax with not much evidence to back it up.

“[A] lot of these allegations of organized retail theft are not actually panning out,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “I believe it’s a Walgreens in California cited it, but the data didn’t back it up.”

Contrary to the New York Democrat’s claims, the smash-and-grab crimewave has severely impacted retail outlets, with up to tens of billions of dollars in losses, according to the Associated Press.

Here Comes the Limited Hangout

Since Watergate, conventional Washington wisdom holds that the cover-up is worse than the crime. Richard Nixon’s Committee to Re-Elect the President (CREEP) tasked former intelligence operatives to break into Democratic National Committee headquarters to wiretap the opposition. To cover up his involvement in the Watergate break-in, Nixon lied about what he knew and when he knew it, resulting in his resignation from office.

Financial Disclosures Show The Politicized Teachers Unions

New financial revelations further expose the political power of the country's two largest teachers' unions. The latter got more than $6.5 million and exists under the umbrella of the Democracy Alliance, which was described by Politico in 2014 as, "The Left's Secret Club."

In 2020, while parents were plagued by school closures and Congress designed its Coronavirus Relief Package, the NEA and the American Federation of Teachers improved their contributions to Democrats and liberal groups totaling over $65 million.

Researchers Afraid To Publish Vaccine Heart Inflammation Study & Risk Funding Loss From Big Pharma

On Nov. 8, 2021, an abstract appeared in the Journal Circulation of the American Heart Association (AMA) showing that COVID vaccines “dramatically” increase heart inflammation in the people that were studies. Plus led to a substantial increase in the risk of heart complications, like myocarditis and heart attacks.

Twitter put a note on the post by the AMA, stating that it could be misleading and the study could have errors in it.

Cardiologist and NHS consultant Dr. Aseem Malhotra appeared on GBN explaining the findings, and while he was doing so he mentioned another study conducted by a well known cardiologist, who wished to remain anonymous, that found the same thing.

PATRICK LAWRENCE: Obituary for Russiagate

Russiagate, that fraudulent fable wherein Russian President Vladimir Putin personally subverted American democracy, Russian intelligence pilfered the Democratic Party’s email, and Donald Trump acted at the Kremlin’s behest, is at last dead.

No, nothing sudden. It has been a slow, painful death of the sort this destructive beast richly deserved. But its demise is now definitive — in the courts and on paper. We await the better historians to see this properly into the record.

Three key operatives in the construction of the Russiagate edifice are indicted for lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about aspects of the Russiagate tale. The Steele dossier, the document on which much of the case against former President Trump rested, is now exposed as a Nixonesque “dirty trick” authorized and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

Epstein And Clinton Were 'Hanging Out' At The White House

Jeffrey Epstein's path to the Clinton White House has been laid out by visitor records exclusively acquired by DailyMail.com, which show Epstein visited at least 17 times during the former President's first few years in office.

Epstein, who died in 2019, visited Bill Clinton at the Executive Mansion over three years, with the first invitation coming just a month after his inauguration in January 1993.

The logs show the late financier showed up on 14 separate days, even making two visits in a single day on three different occasions.

Epstein was invited by some of Clinton's most senior advisers and aides, including one who later served as Treasury Secretary, according to records.

If Roe Is Reversed, Democrats Need to Be Ready

As Democrats try to shake off their losses and near losses in the bruising 2021 off-year elections, conventional wisdom has emerged about how Democrats should wage next year’s difficult midterm campaign to hang on to control of Congress — and avoid a dangerous trajectory toward the next presidential election. That CW was nicely summarized in the New York Times by a Democratic pollster conducting postelection focus groups in Virginia, where Republican Glenn Youngkin broke a long GOP losing streak last month:

People think we’re more focused on social issues than the economy — and the economy is the No. 1 issue right now …

I think some of that is voters reading us talking about things that aren’t economic issues. Part of it is just a natural reaction, too: We’re in an economy they feel is tough. It’s hard for them to think we’ve solved problems when they see so many …

The Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate on Thursday passed a bill to fund the government through mid-February, averting the risk of a shutdown after overcoming a bid by some Republicans to delay the vote in a protest against vaccine mandates.

The 69-28 vote leaves government funding at current levels through Feb. 18, and gives Democratic President Joe Biden plenty of time to sign the measure before funding was set to run out at midnight on Friday.

The Senate acted just hours after the House of Representatives approved the measure, by a vote of 221-212, with the support of only one Republican.
