British Government Strike Law Most ‘Oppressive In The Developed World’

British trade union laws are the most restrictive in the developed world. This is a legacy of the Thatcher years, with legislation passed between 1979 and 1997, which made it harder for unions to gain recognition and raised the bar for ballots on strike action, requiring 40 percent turnout, making it much harder for unions to go on strike.

Federal judge erases Maui voters, bows to Monsanto

Federal Judge Susan Oki Mollway just told Maui voters: you’re canceled.

Last November, Maui County passed a ballot measure that would put a stop to all local Monsanto/Dow GMO experiments, until an independent investigation could assess the harm to health.

Promptly, Monsanto and Dow sued, the result of the vote was put on hold and never enforced…and now, all these months later, the ruling has come down.

Judge Mollway decided that state and federal laws governing agriculture trump county laws.

In other words, the people have no voice.

Admission of Hillary Clinton’s classified emails opens door for feds to seize her servers

The State Department on Wednesday conceded that two dozen of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s emails did contain classified information, a fact that could trigger a U.S. policy that authorizes the government to take control of her private server and sanitize the contents.

A former senior intelligence official told The Washington Times the policy also requires the government to check other Internet paths her secret information could have taken.

Both Major U.S. Parties are Plagues on Humanity

The two corporate parties have collaborated in knocking off countries targeted for invasion and regime change. They have both nurtured the jihadist international network that was created under presidents Carter and Reagan. And presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama are complicit in the capital crime of genocide in the Congo, where six million people have died since 1996. The presidential nominee of either party must be a ghoul, a fiend, or a banshee.

How a Dogged L.A. DEA Agent Unraveled the CIA's Alleged Role in the Murder of Kiki Camarena

By the time Camarena's badly decomposed corpse turned up several weeks after his abduction, U.S. agents in Mexico had exposed the ballyhooed success of the drug war as a farce perpetrated by Mexican authorities in league with the traffickers. The Federal Security Directorate (DFS), a Mexican police agency modeled on the FBI and in part created by the CIA, dismissed a fifth of its personnel in the wake of the Camarena murder; 19 of the 31 state-level commanders were replaced.

Feminists upset over statue of man and woman talking

Scene: You're a woman, sitting on a bench reading a book. Your male friend sees you on the quad and comes over to say hello and talk. You put down your book, lean back against the bench and smile. He doesn't sit next to you; instead, he puts his foot on the bench and leans over his knee.

So sexist, right?

That scene is depicted in a statue at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, and despite no sign of distress or physical assertion, some women have decided it is a statue of "mansplaining" — a term used to describe men condescendingly explaining something to a woman.

Seriously. Here's the actual statue and the claim of misogyny:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Hillary is counting on the "Vagina Vote" (her campaign's own term for it, so stop the hate emails) to win next year, and is trying to revive the militant male-bash feminism of the 1990s to push it through. But voters of my age remember how there never really was a rape crisis, and that women are not the helpless victims the feminists made them out to be (in the name of empowerment), so something new was needed. The good news; the opening salvo in Hillary's feminist gambit just looks plain silly!

CNN: Obama White House Lied ‘We Didn’t Know About Hillary’s Private Email’

On July 1st, CNN reported that “President Barack Obama’s top aides, including David Axelrod, communicated with Hillary Clinton at her private email address while she was secretary of state,” and that, “Obama officials — including Axelrod — had said they were unaware Clinton was using a personal email address.” CNN provided no linked source for their allegation that Axelrod didn’t know (nor juxtaposed his statement which contradicted it); however, what CNN said there was indeed accurate, so far as it went, as one can tell simply by clicking onto this link:

Toward a Rational US Strategy (Part 2)

In Part One, I dealt at length with America’s relationship with “Lesser” or “Third World” powers because that is where we have been most active since the Second World War. I now turn to America’s postwar rivalry with the other “Great” power, the Soviet Union, and offer some thoughts on our growing relationship with China.

Domestic slave camps authorized in government documents! This time it’s roundups of any opposition to their rule

Don’t fool yourself into believing that the Supreme Court will never again allow a wartime violation of civil rights like it did in allowing internment camps for Japanese-Americans during World War II, those are the powerful words of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in his address to law students at the University of Hawaii and they couldn’t portray a more honest truth about where we are headed in the near future.

Greece Surrenders its Sovereignty to Brussels

The Syriza government is backing down after the realization that Brussels will declare economic war on Greece by deliberately trying to plunge the country into total ruin, far worse than the sanctions imposed on Russia. This is a sad day for the entire world. It is a terrible example that the Troika is the new equivalent of a Roman Triumvirate – the death of democracy. Europeans will remember this day for it is when national sovereignty died.

The Final Link in the Chain Around Your Neck

How do you change the way people think? You start by changing the words they use.

Hillary Clinton’s Failed Libya ‘Doctrine’

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fancied the violent 2011 “regime change” in Libya such a triumph that her aides discussed labeling it the start of a “Clinton Doctrine,” according to recently released emails that urged her to claim credit when longtime Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was deposed. And Clinton did celebrate when Gaddafi was captured and murdered.

Where Are Mayors Opposing Police Militarization?

In cities across the United States, we have seen how the militarized mold of policing and the supply of armored vehicles, assault weapons and the like have resulted in police forces who no longer see their role as one of protecting and serving, but as an occupying army.

Ukraine: Rogue State Deadbeat

Ukraine is Exhibit A for everything a nation shouldn't be. It's run by illegitimate, Nazi-infested putschists - lunatics risking war with Russia. It's a brutal dictatorship by any standard.

Its US-anointed president is an oligarch mega-crook war criminal. Its top officials look like an FBI most wanted list.

Corruption is the national pastime. So is police state ruthlessness and naked aggression on its own people.

Poroshenko finds new ways to disgrace himself. Earlier he claimed 10,000 Russian soldiers on Ukrainian territory.

Survey: Over a Third of Americans Would Like to Expatriate

It’s been found that year after year, more Americans are leaving the United States and renouncing their citizenship. It’s a trend that, while small, has been seeing explosive growth. Just a few years ago only a couple of hundred Americans took that course of action. But last year, a record 3,415 Americans said goodbye to their citizenship.

Of course, that number is just a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of the population. However, moving to a new country is often a tedious an expensive process. If it were easier, how many people do you think would be willing to leave this country? A new survey conducted by the peer-to-peer money transfer service known as TransferWise, asked that question to 2000 American residents and citizens. They found that 35% of them would consider leaving the good old US of A.

TSA Seizes $75,000 in Cash from Traveler, Tweets Picture of It, But Probably Won’t Give It Back

The gestapo continues to steal everything from us, including our money. Instead of “cops and robbers,” here’s a case of cops or robbers, because I can’t tell who is who here.

When a passenger simply tried to take a bag filled with $75,000 in cash onto a flight at Richmond International Airport, the TSA searched his “bulky” bag and found the money.

They quickly confiscated it.

The guy was not under suspicion for any real crime other than having that much cash on himself at an airport. Apparently just having large sums of cash these days automatically equals a crime that allows the government to steal from you?

Adding insult to theft injury, one of TSA’s spokespeople decided it would somehow make the agency look that much better to then Tweet a snarky photo of the guy’s money-filled bag.

Blumenthal's State Dept. role went far beyond Libya

New emails released by the State Department late Tuesday reveal a controversial aide played a much larger role in advising Hillary Clinton than the former secretary of state originally suggested.

Sidney Blumenthal, a Clinton confidante whose potential employment at the State Department was nixed by Obama administration officials, advised Clinton on the content of her speeches, on political developments in a number of countries and even on how her policies were playing in the international press.

The new records, all sent during Clinton's first year in office, indicate Blumenthal's advisory role went far beyond the informal intelligence memos he prepared for her about Libya. In fact, the emails suggest Blumenthal performed the duties of a full-time State Department staffer, despite being on the payroll of the Clinton Foundation during the same time period.

Donald Trump has some enthusiastic new admirers: White supremacists

While announcing his 2016 run for the presidency two weeks ago, billionaire and reality television mogul Donald Trump took the moment to say immigrants from Mexico are rapists and drug runners, While rejected by many, white supremacists say he’s speaking their language, according to Vocativ.

After a firestorm of criticism that saw his television shows – including Celebrity Apprentice and Miss America pageant – cancelled on NBC and Univision, he doubled down on the comments yesterday, calling them “totally accurate,” according to MSNBC.

And now he has some new fans.

“I do not believe he would solve all or even most of the problems we are facing, but he is absolutely the only candidate who is even talking about anything at all that matters,” gushed Andrew Anglin, blogger for the neo-Nazi site The Daily Stormer. Trump is “willing to call them out as criminal rapists, murderers and drug dealers.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Yes, certain Neo-Nazis may love Trump.

However, please don't discount the reality that there are enough thoroughly wounded Republican and Independents out there who would vote for him.

He panders to their most base, worse fears and concerns about EVERY immigrant, legal or illegal.

Democrats are betting that the amnesty issue will win scores of elections for them, both in state and national battles; however, they are forgetting one thing; many Latino immigrants have very conservative and church-centric values, and may be very uncomfortable with some issues in the Democratic platform, like abortion rights.

But what he did not choose to bring up is the reality that BOTH parties encourage illegal immigration, because the corporations which fund them love how illegal immigration brings down the cost of doing business.

Are there Mexican immigrants who rape and run drugs?!?

Yes, just like there are people of every ethnicity who do these abysmal acts.

But tarring all Mexicans and Latinos with a single brush, when the many of them have worked damn hard to graduate from college, find a good profession, and achieve the American dream, was one of the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid things the man could have possibly said, and this is why this man is unfit to be American's next President.

All Latinos who can vote in the 2016 election, please make your voices heard, both at the Conventions, and at the election.

Let us all work together to create a country of the people,by the people, and for the people, for all of us!!

And that means fixing what is broken, in a logical, intelligent way, working together.

In Case You Still Have A Drop Of Sympathy Toward JVP

The following is a compendium of duplicitous and manipulative Judeo centric statements that illustrate precisely what many of us dread to admit - liberal Jews are not the solution; they are the core of the problem. These quotes are taken from a transcript of Rabbi Alissa Wise’s speech to a Christian Pro Palestinian organisation- Friends of Sabeel, North America Conference in Vancouver, BC, April 2015.

Rabbi Alissa Wise is not a Zionist zealot, she is much worse – a supremacist Jew dressed in dove’s clothing. Rabbi Alissa Wise is also JVP's Director of Campaigns.

U.S. Congress considers mandating vaccinations for all school children

Your God-given right as a parent to choose the best and safest medical interventions for your children is under attack by a Democratic congresswoman from Florida. Representative Frederica S. Wilson from Florida's 24th District (North Miami) recently introduced the "Vaccinate All Children Act of 2015," which in a nutshell would force vaccinations on all children as a requirement to attend public school.

California Is Now the Perfect Test Lab for Vaccine Laws

This morning, Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill into law that will ban the use of religious and personal belief exemptions—ways that parents can opt out of certain vaccines for their kids before attending public or private school. California now joins only two other states, Mississippi and West Virginia, that have no exemptions in place (though students can still opt out if a doctor says they shouldn’t get vaccinated for medical reasons). The hotly-contested law was passed in the hopes that increased vaccination rates will help stave off the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases like the measles, which broke out earlier this year in a cluster that started in Anaheim’s Disneyland.

Webmaster's Commentary:

No, this bill was signed to increase the profits of the big pharmaceutical corporations.

As Iran nuclear deadline passes, narrative battle heats up

The real issue holding things up is whether the Americans have the "political will" to make that leap, to agree in writing to its obligations (without 100 caveats) and the courage to face their sprawling bureaucracy whose bread-and-butter is the 'sanctions industry' and the 'Iranian enemy.' says Sharmine Narwani

It’s D-Day in Vienna, and the parties sitting across the negotiating table still haven’t ironed out terms to settle a 12-year standoff over Iran’s nuclear program. Expect this deadline to be missed. And prepare for a lot of hot air to fill its space.

The “hot air” is calculated narrative-spin from a range of players that seek to 1) scuttle a deal, 2) increase pressure/create leverage at the negotiating table, or 3) frame an upcoming agreement in language favorable to one side.

Why the UK is No Longer Shocked at Establishment Sex Abuse Cover Ups

Mention the three P’s in the U.K.—pedophiles, politicians, and Parliament, and you are likely to face a range of reactions. Despite reports in parts of the mainstream press, there are those whose eyes widen while dismissing you as an anti-establishment conspiracy theorist who takes things too far. Then there are the whistleblowers, survivors, lawyers, and politicians demanding investigations whilst working tirelessly to peel the paint from under the whitewashing.

The saddest reaction of all is from those who are not shocked. With child abuse scandals involving the U.K.’s most powerful coming to light almost as regularly as the changing of the guard, many of us are becoming desensitized to things that make others’ stomachs churn.

UN Human Rights Council to condemn Israel over Operation Protective Edge, but not demand sanctions

The Palestinian resolution that will be brought to a vote on Thursday in the United Nations Human Rights Council concerning the international commission of inquiry’s report into Operation Protective Edge is expected to be harshly critical of Israel – but will not contain a demand for sanctions or any concrete moves against Israel, as indicated by a draft of the proposal seen by Haaretz.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sanctions would have to go through the Security Council, where the US would use its veto to protect Israel's crimes yet again.
