Watch Madman McCain lie about what is going on in Syria

What makes John McCain tick continues to baffle observers.

Putin has volunteered that he is missing a few marbles due to his long captivity in Vietnam.

Conspiracy theorist argue that he is a an asset of Israeli intelligence, citing his marriage to a Jewish mobster family from Arizona, and his comically knee-jerk hollering in favor of anything that benefits Israel.

Conservatives hate him because pretends to be conservative, but isn't at all on social issues.

Who knows where the truth lies, but one thing is sure, the man is a menace.

Syrian troops loyal to President Bashar al-Assad launched a ground offensive amid Russian airstrikes in the provinces of Hama and Idlib in western Syria targeting members of the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), Wednesday. It is the first major ground fighting since Russian authorities began launching air strikes on IS militias on September 30.

Dissent On Israel Not Permitted At Bernie Sanders Event

Another Zionist who puts Israel first instead of his own country.

Fast forward to 2015, this past Saturday, when Bernie Sanders, an increasingly viable contender for the Democratic presidential nomination, held one of his biggest campaign rallies to date, drawing more than 20,000 people to an event at the Boston convention center. Among those visitors were a number of young activists from Boston Students for Justice in Palestine, who were curious about Sanders’ position on the occupied territories. They had a sign with them; in a playful nod to one of Sanders’ campaign slogans, it simply asked, “Will Ya Feel The Bern For Palestine?” The activists say they were well-received by other Sanders supporters in the crowd.

The World's Silliest Empire

The next silly moment arrived at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York, where Obama, who went on for 30 minutes instead of the allotted 15 (does Mr. Silly President know how to read a clock?) managed to use up all of this time and say absolutely nothing that made any sense to anyone.

But it was Putin's speech that laid out the Empire's silliness for all to see when he scolded the US for making a bloody mess of the Middle East with its ham-handed interventions. The oft-repeated quote is “Do you understand what you have done?” but that's not quite right. The Russian «?? ???? ????????? ??????, ???? ?? ??????????» can be more accurately translated as “How can you even now fail to understand what a mess you have made?” Words matter: this is not how one talks to a superpower before an assembly of the world's leaders; this is how one scolds a stupid and wayward child. In the eyes of the whole world, this made the Empire look rather silly.

Supreme Court Says Mandatory Vaccinations Don’t Violate Children’s Constitutional Rights

The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear a case challenging the state of New York’s public school vaccination requirement, which requires all children to be vaccinated prior to attendance at public school.

The SCOTUS’s failure to hear the case effectively states that mandatory vaccination of all public school children, doesn’t violate their constitutional rights.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It does, however, violate the Nuremberg code, which requires informed consent (emphasis on consent) prior to any medical treatment!

Scotland Yard accuses the BBC of hampering its investigations into historical child sexual abuse

Scotland Yard has accused the BBC of undermining its investigation into historical child sex abuse, claiming that the corporation’s actions risked deterring victims from coming forward.

An hour-long Panorama investigation aired on BBC One last night, scrutinising allegations of a historical paedophile ring in Westminster.

On the programme, a man known only as David, claimed he may have been led by campaigners into making serious allegations against members of the establishment.

An Ex-Lawman On A Lonely Mission: Bringing The Police To Justice

At the heart of Peace Officer, a new documentary out this month, stands a man named William "Dub" Lawrence. A former sheriff, Lawrence comes off as a somber figure — a man capable of calmly reconstructing the death of his suicidal son-in-law, who was shot in a standoff with a SWAT team in 2008.

But when you meet Lawrence, it's impossible not to note just how much the man grins — as in, big, toothy, Jimmy Carter-level grins.

"That's my best weapon," he says. "If I smile, they will usually not punch me in the face."

South Florida Cop Acquitted of Raping Woman at Gunpoint After Jury Determines She Asked For It

A South Florida cop accused of raping a woman at gunpoint while on duty was acquitted today after a jury determined she had asked for it and was merely acting out a fantasy by allowing the cop to penetrate her as she bent over the hood of his car.

The incident took place October 15, 2014 when the woman, who was 20 at the time, was riding passenger in a car with a friend who had been arrested for drunk driving.

Maiorino, 35 at the time, agreed to drive her to the police station where she could be picked up by her mother.

However, the woman said that when he pulled up in front of the station, he unzipped his pants and pulled out his penis and held her head down, ordering her to suck it.

Russia To The Rescue

Happy Birthday President Putin.Wish America had a leader like you!

If Syria has now effectively become a Russian protectorate, it follows logically that NO planes ought henceforth to be allowed to fly over Syrian air space without Assad’s consent and Russian approval. This will apply not only to Israeli planes but, by extension, to American planes, British planes and French planes. The distinction between the “good terrorists” (the so-called Syrian “rebels” backed by the West) and the “bad terrorists” and their affiliates (ISIS and their kind) will soon disappear.

The Russian aim is to support the Assad regime. As such, all the Western-backed “rebel” forces in Syria will henceforth be regarded as deadly enemies of Syria and will probably be destroyed. Putin has every right to bomb the Muslim mercenaries on the American payroll. A

Russia "Violated" Turkish Airspace Because Turkey "Moved" Its Border

One Russian plane may even indeed have slightly crossed the border while maneuvering. But the real reason why the U.S. military official and Turkey claim the above "violations" is because Turkey unilaterally "moved" the Turkish-Syrian border five miles south:

Turkey has maintained a buffer zone five miles inside Syria since June 2012, when a Syrian air defense missile shot down a Turkish fighter plane that had strayed into Syrian airspace. Under revised rules of engagement put in effect then, the Turkish air force would evaluate any target coming within five miles of the Turkish border as an enemy and act accordingly.

If Syrian rules of engagement would "move" its northern border up to the Black Sea would any plane in eastern Turkey be in violation of Syrian air space? No one would accept such nonsense and that is why no one should accept the U.S.-Turkish bullshit here. Russian planes should not respect the "new" Turkish defined border but only the legitimate one.

Nevada lawmaker wants study of medications prescribed to mass shooters

As the nation learns more about the mass-casualty shooter at a rural Oregon community college, a state lawmaker would like to learn more about drugs used to treat mental illness while one of Nevada's federal lawmakers says it is time for lawmakers to act to try to end mass shootings. . .

. . . Local Republican Assemblywoman Michele Fiore says that while a lot of people want to blame guns for mass shootings, she believes we need to take a look at psychiatric drug treatments prescribed to those struggling with mental illness.

Journalists have learned that the shooter's screen name on social media was "lithium love." Lithium is used as a psychiatric medication.

While there is no confirmation of medications that Harper-Mercer was prescribed, Fiore says with some drugs known to cause violence, suicidal and homicidal actions, we need more scientific proof that they work.

US airstrike on Afghan hospital attack on Geneva conversion: MSF

Talks with US banned because of disadvantages: Leader

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says holding negotiations with the US is banned as it has countless disadvantages and no benefits.

The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with commanders and staff members of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)’s Navy as well as their families in Tehran on Wednesday.

“The problem currently facing the country is due to certain individuals who are quite thoughtless or quite credulous and don’t understand these realities,” said Ayatollah Khamenei in an apparent reference to those who favor talks with Washington.

Holding talks with Washington would be tantamount to “infiltration” and paving the way for imposing its will, the Leader noted.

Baghdad, Russia’s ally in its fight against ISIS, wants Russia to have a bigger role in the anti-terrorist campaign in Iraq than the US and may soon officially request to start airstrikes on its soil, the chairman of Iraqi parliament’s defense committee said.

"We might be forced to ask Russia to launch airstrikes in Iraq soon. I think in the upcoming few days or weeks Iraq will be forced to ask Russia to launch airstrikes and that depends on their success in Syria," said Hakim al-Zamili, Reuters reported.

"We are seeking to see Russia having a bigger role in Iraq... Yes, definitely a bigger role than the Americans," Zamili said.

The Iraqi official told RIA Novosti that the decision would depend on how efficient the Russian campaign in Syria proved to be.

BEX Alert!!! - "On guns, Trump finally meets his Kryptonite"

Except, it seems, when it comes to one particular issue: gun violence.

On this issue, and this issue alone, Trump is — like every other Republican contender — strangely passive. . .

. . . We know what could be done to at least reduce would-be murderers’ access to deadly weapons, including universal background checks and closure of the so-called Charleston loophole, which allowed Dylan Roof to purchase a gun when he should have been denied one. We could also limit the size of magazines, or reinstate the assault weapons ban. Or create a federally financed gun buyback program, as proved successful in Australia. When it comes to curbing gun violence, The United States suffers not from a failure of imagination; we have a failure of will.

Where is Superman when we need him?

How Putin will Win in Syria

The reason Putin will succeed where the US failed in its war on ISIS, is because the Russian air-strikes are going to be accompanied by a formidable mop-up operation that will overpower the jihadi groups on the ground. This is already happening as we speak. The Russian Air Force has been pounding terrorist targets across the Idlib Governorate for the last few days as well as ISIS strongholds in the East at Raffa. Putin is going to cut through these guys like crap through a goose.

So the Russian people are proud of the way Putin is fighting the war on terror. Is there something wrong with that? Many Americans are old enough to remember a time when they were proud of their own country too, when it actually stood up for the principles it espouses in its founding documents. That was quite a while ago though, sometime back in the “pre-Gitmo” era”.

NZ diplomat Robert Kaiwai had a hand in choosing $6.2m Hawaii mansion

Note: Maybe Mike can go & visit him & get him to help feed the homeless & get a spare bed for someone.

A New Zealand diplomat was involved in the selection of a $6.2 million mansion bought with taxpayer money for him and his wife to live in.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Mfat) has come out strongly against criticism that diplomat Robert Kaiwai picked the luxurious property, saying the decision was made by officials in Wellington.

"Mr Kaiwai was involved in identifying properties that corresponded with the terms of reference. A short list of five properties was made," an Mfat spokesman said.

"The short listed properties were then viewed by a three person Mfat team. Mr Kawai was neither part of that team nor present when they visited the properties."

The team made a recommendation to the Ministry, the spokesman said, which was reviewed by an independent advisory panel. The purchasing decision was made at a senior level in the Ministry.

Kiwi's Libor rigging trial begins

A New Zealand resident known as "Big Nose" was one of six brokers that helped convicted trader Tom Hayes manipulate bank rates by acting as middlemen between him and other traders, a London court has heard.

The six are former brokers of ICAP, RP Martin and Tullett Prebon and their trial began in the Southwark Crown Court in London overnight.

The group - Wellington resident Darrell Read, Colin Goodman, Danny Wilkinson, Terry Farr, James Gilmour and Noel Cryan - are defending charges of conspiracy to defraud.

They are accused of helping Hayes, a former Tokyo-based UBS and Citigroup trader, profit from his yen derivatives trades.

"They were rewarded in various ways to corrupt a process that should not have been corrupted," said prosecutor Mukul Chawla, according to the Financial Times.

Hillary Email Scandal: Has Another Private Account Been Found?

Last week, Patrick F. Kennedy, the State Department's under secretary of state for management, told Clinton's lawyer in a letter that she had better get busy providing more emails.

"To the extent her emails might be found on any internet service and email providers," he wrote, "we encourage you to contact them."

Kennedy's letter raises another issue beyond possible perjury from a presidential candidate. Is he suggesting that there is possibly another private email account used by Clinton while at State that we don't know about?

So far we know that Clinton used hdr22@clintonemail.com and HRod17@clintonemail.com during her tour at the State Department. If she turned over all her relevant emails from these known accounts, as she says she has, then what is Kennedy referring to? More from those same accounts? Or emails from another not-yet-identified account? The wording "on any internet service and email providers" leaves the request wide open for interpretation.

Donald Trump Thinks You Should Be Able To Bring Guns Anywhere, Except His Own Hotels

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump regularly calls for getting rid of gun-free zones. Monsanto and Syngenta Tighten Stranglehold on Global Food Supply

There is a corporate monster in the making. If allowed to emerge, it will gain near complete control of one of the most vital elements to human survival: our global food supply. This monster - a conglomeration of two corporate entities, Monsanto and Syngenta - must be stopped for the sake of the planet and future generations.

They seek to put all of their critics and those deemed "in the way" in prison or leave them financially ruined. They threaten to subvert the democratic process with their "bought" legislators, who are strategically placed inside virtually every facet of the governmental apparatus. Now Hillary Is Pushing for Laws so That Shooting Victims Can Sue Gun Manufacturers

Hillary is parading around the campaign trail with her new gun control initiatives; she’s already happily floating the idea that she’ll bypass Congress and pass gun control legislation with executive orders as president… and she’s not even the actual nominee yet (we know she will be, but still).

One bit of legislation she is pushing for will make it so that victims of gun violence and their families can sue gun manufacturers.

Yes. Because every company that makes any product in America should be afraid that at any moment, they will suddenly be held responsible and financially liable and possibly driven out of business if a random customer uses their product in an illegal manner.

Following that logic, here are some examples of legislation Hillary is not pushing for:

The note to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from liberal financier George Soros demanded “urgent attention from the highest levels of the U.S. government.” Clinton swiftly alerted a top aide to what she described as a “very forceful message which is good — and needed.”

The email exchange, in which Soros warned of growing unrest in Albania, illustrates how Clinton interacted with major donors to her family's causes during her tenure at the State Department, staying in touch with her political network before her 2016 run for the Democratic presidential nomination. And the messages show how these donors, some of them with interests before the federal government, gained high-level access to press policy concerns inside the Clinton-led State Department.

“Lithium Love”: Was Oregon Gunman on Psychiatric Meds Linked to Violence?

The revelation that Umpqua Community College shooter Chris Mercer used the screen name “lithium love,” along with other references to prescription medication, strongly suggests that the gunman was taking psychiatric drugs that have been linked to violent outbursts.

As the Oregonian reports, “There are a number of indications that Harper-Mercer had mental health or behavioral issues. His screen name on some social media sites was “lithium love.” Lithium is used as a psychiatric medication.”

Lithium is used to enhance the effect of SSRI drugs, a number of which, “have also been linked to increase risk for violent, even homicidal behavior,” reports Time.

“I have a pill bottle with like five types of pills mixed in. I don’t know which ones are the sleep aids, so I just took four of each,” wrote Mercer.

He'd Let Them Swarm In, Now He'd kick Them Out: Trump Does Drastic 180 on Syrian Immigrants In less Than A Month, His Desperate, Starry-Eyed Supporters Don't Even Notice

Look, everyone knows we need a real game-changer in this country, someone who cares about America. Just like his sudden, drastic "about-faces" on gun rights and illegal immigration, Donald "I'm A Big Fan Of Israel" Trump said less than 25 days ago that we must let Syrian immigrants in because it's a "humanitarian disaster" and the poor migrants were "in a living hell." This week he's saying the exact opposite, that he would send them back, (presumably send back the same ones he promised to let in?) Where I come from theres an old saying which applies in this case.

Trump and Sanders blowing pundits' minds

Events in both the Republican and Democratic presidential races have outstripped the ability of political strategists and journalists to understand them. Faced with the continued dominance of Donald Trump and the undeniable strength of Bernie Sanders, many in the political commentariat have tried to stuff a series of baffling events into familiar interpretive constructs. It's not working.

It's probably fair to say that every — not most, every — Republican strategist in Washington believes Trump will fade, or perhaps blow up, or in any event will not be the GOP nominee. Everything in their experience tells them he won't last. Which has led to the extraordinary scenario of a frontrunner being asked repeatedly under what circumstances would he drop out of the race.

The EPA Closed the Lab That Might Have Caught VW Years Ago

ore than 20 years ago, an engineer at the Environmental Protection Agency invented a device that allows technicians to measure the emissions of a car as it is traveling in the real world.

Had the device, then known as ROVER, been used by the EPA to screen cars, it would have detected Volkswagen’s cheating long ago, former engineers for the EPA said.

But the Alexandria, Va., lab where the testing device was developed was closed by the EPA about 2001, and the contractors who worked there were laid off. The pilot program that used the new devices to test cars for emissions compliance on the road did not continue, officials said.

“When this all came out in the news about VW, my first thought was, ‘Wow, we could have been all over this,’?” said John Lux, testing manager at the lab.
