Outside In: The Trump administration’s plan to remake the Middle East

The only promise that is new about the promised peace plan is the way it will be forced on the Palestinians: no one has promised that the plan itself will be new. With Saudi Arabia and Egypt—the outside—brought onside with the promise of continued military aid despite their crimes against humanity and violations of international law and the Palestinians weakened by being silenced, economically crushed and stripped of any friends to help them, the United States and Israel are now free to attempt to impose a peace plan on the Palestinians.

Israel fines New Zealand women $18,000 for urging Lorde concert boycott

An Israel court has ordered two New Zealand women to pay damages for harming the “artistic welfare” of three Israeli teenagers after the pop star Lorde cancelled a planned performance in Tel Aviv.

Judge Mirit Fohrer ruled that Justine Sachs and Nadia Abu-Shanab of New Zealand must pay damages to Israeli teenagers Shoshana Steinbach, Ayelet Wertzel and Ahuva Frogel totaling more than NZ$18,000 for writing a letter urging the singer to cancel her concert in Tel Aviv, the Jerusalem Post reports.

It is believed to be the first effective use of a 2011 Israeli law allowing civil lawsuits of anyone who encourages a boycott of Israel.

The Israeli teenagers claimed their “artistic welfare” was damaged because of the cancellation and that they suffered “damage to their good name as Israelis and Jews”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Artistic Welfare", MY ASTROLABE!!

I am hoping that the New Zealand judicial system is bright enough to realize what this truly is; an attempt to squash any artistic freedom on the part of anyone who cancels a concert in Israel, due to Palestinian human rights issues.

I sincerely hope that artists around the world will back Lourdes, with all the moral integrity possible, and never book gigs in Israel ever again, in protest of their treatment of Palestinians.

If they are asked, that they will tell event promoters that until Israel stops its wretchedly apartheid treatment of Palestinians, they cannot, in good conscience, perform in this country, ever again.

Theater artists call on Toronto, NYC & Pittsburgh venues to cancel Israeli government-sponsored performances

Palestinian arts and solidarity organizations, along with US Jewish and Israeli groups, have joined theater artists in signing a letter calling on Toronto, New York and Pittsburgh arts organizations not to host Israel’s Gesher Theatre or partner with the Israeli government, citing their involvement in violations of Palestinian rights. Award-winning actors Kathleen Chalfant and Miriam Margolyes, and playwrights Caryl Churchill, Betty Shamieh, Naomi Wallace and Anne Washburn are among the artists who signed the letter.

Henry VIII's 'Holy Grail' tapestry woven with gold and silver thread which was last seen in Windsor Castle in 1770 is found in Spain

A monumental tapestry that cost a king's ransom when Henry VIII commissioned it in the 16th century has been discovered in Spain. It was long ago assumed to have been destroyed.

As a masterpiece woven with gold and silver thread, it was the ultimate show of wealth. In the 1530s, the Tudor monarch gave it pride of place at Hampton Court, his seat of power.

Almost 20 ft wide, it was part of a now-lost set of nine tapestries depicting the life of Saint Paul.

Fred to Take Wheel of Ship of State: Will Implement Thoughtful and Reasonable Measures

Iran WARNING: US tells airlines not to fly through airspace as WW3 fears rise

The advisory also warns military activities linked to the bloody conflict in Syria have been ramped across Iran's airspace.

Tensions between Tehran and Washington are running high following Donald Trump’s controversial decision to pull out of the landmark Iran nuclear deal re-introduce economic sanctions last month.

Flight Service Bureau, which provides safety information on airspace to airlines, said "without seeming alarmist", the deteriorating relationship between the US and Iran must be taken into account when planning flights in Iran's airspace.

This is getting just about as serious as is a heart attack: I find myself very alarmed at these developments.

The Day U.S. Military Supremacy Publicly Ended

Military Budgets

The U.S. Military budget for FY 2019 will be $716 Billion. Add $70 Billion for Homeland Security, $70 Billion for the nation’s 16 intelligence agencies, $186 Billion for veterans’ benefits, and the U.S. spends more than a trillion dollars a year on “defense.” Two trillion dollars covers yearly mandatory expenses for social security, Medicare, Medicaid, and interest on the federal debt, leaving less than one trillion out of the country’s $4 Trillion budget left for everything else.

Russia’s military budget is $61 B a year, less than 10 percent of the U.S. military budget and less than that of Saudi Arabia.

Given the above facts, Russia would appear to be no match against the U.S. militarily.

Creative People Are Vastly More Aware and Observant than Everyone Else, Noticing Things in the World Around Them That Other People Miss

It goes without saying that when it comes to innovating and dreaming up new ideas, creative people do it best — and it’s probably because they see the world in a different way than everyone else does. Researchers have found that people who rank high in the “open” personality trait — that is, creative types who are more imaginative and adventurous — see and process visual information differently.

HERE ARE 410 MOVIES MADE UNDER THE DIRECT INFLUENCE AND SUPERVISION OF THE PENTAGON

And what's more, unlike in authoritarian systems, in the West it is the consumers that are actually willing, if perhaps unwitting, participants in state propaganda. The Outline report continues:

Certainly, the content has alternative, sincere agendas, too, but it’s the giant, amorphous market of consumers that has called it forth. That’s the difference between our propaganda and everyone else’s. In autocratic regimes, a government-backed entity pushes it onto indifferent or unwilling consumers. In America, we, the consumers, happily demand it.

Below is a merely partial list of films in alphabetical order that had Pentagon involvement either during the script or production phase, according to declassified US government documents. Amazingly the list of 410 movies is but half of the total number (for example, Zero Dark Thirty and some other prominent ones are not on there) and was compiled by the FOIA investigative website Spy Culture.

BEAUTIFYING APARTHEID

An unknown artist has painted a mural of Palestinian resistance icon Ahed Tamimi on the Israeli separation wall in Bethlehem, just as her father said she might be released on Sunday after almost eight months of unjust imprisonment.

Media outlets had speculated about the artist’s identity, some describing him as Palestinian, but he has since come out as Italian street artist Agostino Chirwin. Also known as ‘Jorit Agoch,’ he has a reputation for hyper realistic murals of activists, politicians and other campaigners.

While painting the 13-foot mural, Chirwin obscured his identity by keeping a black cloth wrapped around his head.

Palestinians use Israel’s weapons to sow peace

A Palestinian man in Gaza has been turning empty tear gas canisters used by Israeli forces against Palestinian protesters near Gaza’s eastern border into pieces of art.

Thirty-four-year-old Abdul Karim Abu Ataya regularly collects the empty gas canisters near the border fence in order to transform them into decorative prayer beads and flower pots to “send a message of peace to the world.”

“We have been participating in the Great March of Return and calling for an end to the Gaza siege,” Abu Ataya told MEMO. “The occupation forces have been firing gas canisters at us, so I thought I’d use them to create prayer beads and flower pots.”

Imagine an anatomy book where instead of precise illustrations, one needs to learn from provisional artistic interpretation.

The documentation gathered in photographs provided accurate visualization of damaged bodies, illnesses, and diseases. Photography contributed to medical research, education, and patient care.

Before the 19th century, hospitals hired artists to illustrate the things they saw.

Book Review - Losing Military Supremacy: The Myopia of American Strategic Planning by Andrei Martyanov

The fact that the US is facing a profound crisis, possibly the worst one in its history, is accepted by most observers, except maybe the most delusional ones.

When speaking of this crisis, most people will mention the deindustrialization, the drop in real income, the lack of well-paid jobs, healthcare, crime, immigration, pollution, education, and a myriad of other contributing factors. But of all the aspects of the “American dream”, the single most resilient one has been the myth of the US military as “the finest fighting force in history”.

Americans have no experience of real warfare (that is warfare in defense of their own land, family and friends) at all. For Americans warfare is killing the other guy in his own country, preferably from afar or above, while making a ton of money in the process. For Russians, warfare is simply about surviving at any and all cost. The difference couldn’t be greater.

2000-year-old preserved loaf of bread found in the ruins of Pompeii

The violent eruption of Mount Vesuvius is considered to be one of the greatest natural catastrophes of the ancient world when several cities in the Bay of Naples were covered in ash and rock and left just as they stood on that fateful day in 79 AD.

The eruption began around midday on August 24th. In the space of just 24 hours, the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, along with Stabiae, Oplontis, and Boscoreale, were completely buried.

The ruins of Pompeii were first “discovered” in the late 16th century, even though the existence of an ancient city, hidden for centuries somewhere below the ground, was well known.

With the help of modern archaeology, the remains of more than 1,500 people were recovered, and with them numerous mundane objects, encompassing the daily life of a Roman town — frozen in time.

The lost gardens of Heligan: Award-winning Cornwall gardens restored after years of neglect

While some of the earliest examples of cultivated gardens can be traced to the Ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian civilizations, the origins of the modern botanical garden is in medieval Europe. In Italy, during the period of the Italian Renaissance, the first medicinal gardens dubbed “physic gardens” started to blossom throughout the 16th century. In fact, much earlier, the Romans were known to be keen gardeners, aware of the numerous medicinal benefits certain plants can bestow.

During the 18th century, the British set up the Calcutta Botanic Gardens, a type of tropical garden. Their principal purpose was to cultivate crops such as tea, coffee, palm oil, and chocolate for mass consumption. The French had their own variant of such gardens in Mauritius and the Spanish in Tenerife. Nevertheless, it is wrong to assume these type of gardens were botanic gardens in the real sense of the word.

American Revolutionary Song: Chester - William Billings

Chester was a patriotic anthem composed by William Billings and sung during the American Revolutionary War. Billings wrote the first version of the song for his 1770 songbook The New England Psalm Singer, and made improvements for the version in his The Singing Master's Assistant (1778). It is the latter version that is best known today.

The curious title of the song reflects a common practice of Billings's day, in which tunes were labeled with (often arbitrarily chosen) place names. Billings's song evidently has little more to do with any particular town named Chester than his hymn tune Africa has to do with Africa. With identifiable names for compositions, performers could select different lyrics to sing with the music without creating confusion.
This song would rival Yankee Doodle as the unofficial anthem of the rebel colonies

The NWO Globalists are attempting to destroy the American Republic with civil war.

The New World Order globalist cabal has given marching orders to the American political class, top corporate officers and leadership throughout civil society to launch the next phase of CIVIL WAR 2.0.

It’s the Rothschild international banking cartel that appears to be instigating this ever-intensifying civil war via foreign agents such as George Soros.

Nevertheless, it is the likes of George Soros, Barack and Michelle Obama, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, Tim Kaine, John Podesta, John Brennan, James Clapper, Michael Hayden, James Comey, Rod Rosenstein, Robert Mueller, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Andrew McCabe, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Tom Perez, Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer, Kamala Harris and many other Democratic traitors who willingly carry water for the NWO cabal. Therefore, the single most effective initiative that President Trump can take to prevent civil war is to arrest George Soros.

BEXALERT: Why Do We Underplay the Links Between Cannabis and Psychosis?

Big Pharma and Big Alcohol and the Judicial/Police/Prison Complex are in one big panic!
I post this as a classic example of propaganda and disinformation.

What is really needed in dealing with cannabis is a “tobacco moment”, as with cigarettes 50 years ago, when a majority of people became convinced that smoking might give them cancer and kill them. Since then the number of cigarette smokers in Britain has fallen by two-thirds.

A depressing aspect of the present debate about cannabis is that so many proponents of legalisation or decriminalisation have clearly not taken on board that the causal link between cannabis and psychosis has been scientifically proven over the past ten years, just as the connection between cancer and cigarettes was proved in the late 1940s and 1950s.

The Death of Independence

The inevitability of a decent into despotism, built into the structure of Article VI, Paragraph 2 of the U.S. Constitution, commonly referred to as the Supremacy Clause, has proven true. It establishes that the federal constitution and federal law generally, take precedence over state laws, and even state constitutions.

Insatiable appetites and lust for power marks the ascendency of legislative, bureaucratic and judicial careers throughout the three branches of central government. Incrementalism and deception has evolved into open defiance and unfettered arrogance. The political class pretends that partisan parties actually offer loyal opposition, when both are camouflaged versions of the same vermin. As likely that cockroaches will inherit the earth, it is more certain that parasitic politicians steal the hopes and dreams of citizens, while destroying any chance for the common-man to have a future worth living.

Palestinian Embroidery

Malak Al-Husseini holds up a square piece of cross-stitch embroidery, with strong colours and patterns stitched with small, uniform, crosses. A small motif embroidered in red reappears across the piece, resembling an elongated pot with flowers. ‘This pattern comes from Jaffa,’ Al-Husseini says. ‘I know that from the flower pots, they are typical of Jaffa. I can immediately see where a piece of embroidery comes from – what specific part of Palestine,’ she says.

Many more pieces are spread out on the table in front of her – large ones with a multitude of colours, smaller ones with minimalist designs. Behind her, inside a wardrobe, is a literal archive of embroidery: sample after sample with different patterns and colour combinations hang tightly together. Some have embroidered palm trees and cypresses, others tiny apples and chickpeas – or figures with names like ‘cow’s eye’, ‘old man’s teeth’ or ‘the baker’s wife’.

The politicisation of Palestinian embroidery

Palestinians have had their land taken away, their music misappropriated and their food hijacked — but their embroidery and its significance for their identity proudly remains one of the most iconic symbols of their resistance.
Last month, the Palestinian Museum in Birzeit, located outside of Ramallah, launched Labour of Love: New Approaches to Palestinian Embroidery, which will run through August.

Building on years of research and fieldwork, this new exhibition seeks to critically re-orientate approaches to Palestinian embroidery, its history and contemporary significance. The exhibition also examines the politicisation of the handicraft, its use in paintings and posters, the implications of its commodification and the nature of its production by NGOs today.

I have to say that as much as I don’t like the direction Trump’s foreign policy has gone, there are still plenty of moments of unbridled joy in watching the man work a crowd.

His suggestion of allowing Russia back into the G-7 is one of those moments. Trump has a nearly preternatural way of getting under the skin of his opponents. And this stink bomb was one of them.

It highlighted the divide between the G-7, one of the most important tools of control by the globalists, and Trump.

In Chicago, Jarrett’s family joined a circle with some other interesting characters:

Frank Marshall Davis was an African-American born in Kansas in 1905 who eventually moved to Chicago and joined Communist Party USA. Notably, he joined the party after the signing of the Hitler-Stalin Pact, a time when many American communists, particularly Jewish-American communists, left the party. The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) has launched a campaign to boycott Berlin’s Pop-Kultur Festival in mid-August in protest at the Israeli embassy’s sponsorship of the international event.

“Israel seeks associations with international festivals, such as Pop-Kultur Berlin, to art-wash its image abroad in the explicit attempt to distract attention from its crimes against Palestinians,” PACBI explained in its press release.

“For a supposedly progressive festival to accept sponsorship from a decades-old regime of oppression and apartheid like Israel’s is unethical and hypocritical, to say the least.”

Netanyahu repaid his host by a missile strike upon Syria, almost right away. In 1987 Donald Trump purchased 93% of Resorts International, a CIA front founded by Crown Agents Allen Dulles and David Rockefeller as the Mary Carter Paint Company in the 1950’s. Soon Trump was tapped out and couldn’t make his debt payments.

Natalie Portman Boycotts Israeli Prize; Right Wing Goes Ballistic

Actress Natalie Portman, a strong supporter of Israel, has come under vicious attack for criticizing that country’s leadership. She now joins the club of scholars, journalists, and political leaders who are vilified by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or his right-wing cohorts.

Portman was born in Jerusalem, and although her family left Israel when she was only three, she became fluent in Hebrew. She is a dual citizen of Israel and the United States.

While studying at Harvard, she became a research assistant for right-wing Zionist Alan Dershowitz. She directed and starred in a feature film presenting the Jewish side of the 1948 war that established the Israeli state.

So Portman is an unlikely candidate for vilification by conservative Jews. Here’s what happened.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Natalie Portman has just rocketed in my respect level for her, both as an artist, and as a Jewish woman who wants to see peace in Israel. I support her in this, completely.

But I can guarantee her this: there will be a price to pay.

She can now expect that roles will become more difficult to come by, as the Israeli right wing attempts to crucify her, and hang her out to dry, artistically and economically. Gilad in the USA, May 2018 Tour

In a healthy society truth doesn’t need a ‘movement’. In a society with a prospect of a future, truth is explored and celebrated in the open.

In the coming USA visit I will delve into the strategies that are set to deviate us from truth and truthfulness. We will learn how false dichotomies are manufactured and the means by which detachment and alienation are sustained. We will look primarily at Palestine and Neocon Wars.

Like the Palestinians we are not allowed to utter the name of our oppressor nor can we discuss the means that facilitate this oppression. Truth is our first step towards emancipation. By now, we are all Palestinians.

Please share these dates with your friends and come to meet me.
