Will Hillary persist in 2020? Her actions suggest ‘yes’

There’s been buzz circulating lately that Hillary Clinton may still have her eye on the Oval Office and is considering stepping back in the ring to take another shot at the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination. Because quitters never win, or something.

On its face, it sounds like pure insanity. However, she’s spent the last year and a half fixated on the 2016 election, traveling all over and telling anyone who will listen why it’s not her fault she lost.

She even went so far as to write a book, “What Happened.” Her publisher could have saved a few trees and sent her a two-word email - you lost.

Perhaps the basket of excuses she’s been carrying around is really her misguided attempt at trying to rehab her image and set the stage for round three in 2020. When you think about it that way, the idea she’d actually run again sounds less like pure insanity and starts to sound absurdly believable.

Thousands protest Israel’s ‘racist’ nation-state law

Some 7,000 people have taken to the streets of Tel Aviv to protest against a controversial bill that declares Israel exclusively “the nation-state of the Jewish people.”

Several Israeli politicians, social activists, public figures and lawmakers took part in Saturday’s demonstration to condemn the discriminatory nature of the measure.

The bill is expected to come to a final vote at the Israeli parliament (Knesset) on Monday. If passed, it could become part of Israel’s basic laws that serve as a de facto constitution.

The draft law prioritises Jewish values over democratic ones in the occupied territories, declares Jerusalem al-Quds the “capital” of Israel, allows Jewish-only communities, sets Hebrew as the official language of Israel and relegates Arabic from an official language to one with “special status.”

Seventy years on from the occupation and ethnic cleansing of Lydd and Ramle

Seventy years ago this month, Lydd and Ramle suffered from the single largest eviction order during the Nakba, during which 750,000 Palestinians were forced from their homes by Zionist militias and nascent Israeli army. Over the period of a few days in July 1948, roughly 60,000 Palestinians from these towns (80 per cent of the local population) were made homeless by Israel; many died on the subsequent death march to the east.

Lydd and Ramle lie on the road between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. As such, they were considered important to Israel’s top strategists, who deemed them thorns in the side of their newly-founded state. After the Israeli army and militias swept into the towns, the fighting did not last long; however, the impact of the atrocities committed in 1948 is enduring.

Return to the ghetto: Israel’s Nation State Law would make early Zionists turn in their graves

This week, Israel’s “Nation State” law has caused outrage. In his usual way, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has steamrolled the bill forwards saying he hopes to see it pass before the Knesset enters its summer recess next week. A final version of the bill was discussed by Knesset members on Tuesday, with Israel’s President, Reuven Rivlin, expressing his opposition to its contents in a rare political intervention. Israel’s Attorney General, Avichai Mendelblit, warned Netanyahu of “possible implications for Israel in the international arena” if the bill was passed “in its current form”, prompting the Likud party to consider diluting its most controversial aspects.

Is a Coming NATO Crisis Inevitable?

Of President Donald Trump’s explosion at Angela Merkel’s Germany during the NATO summit, it needs to be said: It is long past time we raised our voices.

America pays more for NATO, an alliance created 69 years ago to defend Europe, than do the Europeans. And as Europe free-rides off our defense effort, the EU runs trade surpluses at our expense that exceed $100 billion a year.

To Trump, and not only to him, we are being used, gouged, by rich nations we defend, while they skimp on their own defense.

At Brussels, Trump had a new beef with the Germans, though similar problems date back to the Reagan era. Now we see the Germans, Trump raged, whom we are protecting from Russia, collaborating with Russia and deepening their dependence on Russian natural gas by jointly building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline under the Baltic Sea.

Trump Should Fire Rosenstein Immediately

Does Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s indictment of 12 Russian military intelligence officers for allegedly hacking Hillary’s emails and interfering in the US election have any purpose other than to throw a monkey wrench in President Trump’s upcoming summit with Putin?

Don’t forget that Rosenstein is implicated in the orchestration of Russiagate as a weapon against Trump, a weapon that serves the interests of the Democratic Party and the military/security complex about which President Eisenhower warned us 56 years ago to no avail. Rosenstein’s indictment of 12 Russians for allegedly hacking computers is a political indictment aimed at President Trump. The indictment is otherwise pointless as the Russian government will certainly not turn over its military personnel to a Washington kangeroo court. The indictment serves no purpose except to poison the atmosphere of the summit.

This Piece Of Paper Was Robert Mueller’s Evidence Against Trump

Americans have been waiting on pins and needles to see if special counsel Robert Mueller’s witch hunt against President Trump will turn up any evidence.

And Mueller’s evidence left Americans speechless.

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is facing criminal charges related to financial crimes from before he began working for Donald Trump.

Some of the allegations are over a decade old.

Manafort’s lawyers have been fighting Mueller’s prosecution arguing that there should be no mentions of his work for Trump or evidence of Russian collusion presented at trial.

THE PARTY’S OVER – FBI AND DOJ MUST TURN OVER ALL SPY DOCUMENTS TO CONGRESS UNREDACTED

In a move that could kill two birds with one stone, the White House has ordered the FBI and DOJ to turn over all documents on Obama’s spy Stefan Halper. This could be monumental as everyone knows that President Trump would love to fire both Christopher Wray and Rod Rosenstein but politics just won’t allow it. You may or may not realize that the ultimate decider of what is classified and what is not is the president of the United States.

There is no one who can overrule him including the Supreme Court. If either or both refuse to turn over the information, President Trump would be free to fire them and appoint temporary replacements of his choice without Senate consent. He could pick the most radical replacements he wants and they would serve until the Senate confirms a replacement.

The True Meaning Of "Collusion" Exposed

he indictment by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whose task it is to investigate possible collusion between the Trump campaign and ‘Russians’, that was released yesterday by Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein, raises so many questions one has to be picky.

Many people have already stated that the report contains no proof of anything it claims, and that Mueller doesn’t have to prove a thing, because the 12 Russians he accuses will never show up in a US court. Many of course also have at least questioned the timing of the release, 3 days before the Putin-Trump summit in Helsinki, of information Mueller and Rosenstein have allegedly been sitting on for months.

The idea that the event was not coordinated to inflict maximum damage to the summit seems indeed far-fetched.

"Credible" Lisa Page Wows House GOP; Supports Theory FBI Had "Desired Outcome" In Russia Probe

GOP lawmakers were pleased with former FBI attorney Lisa Page's Friday closed-door interview with select House committee members - in sharp contrast to her former FBI co-worker and lover Peter Strzok's Thursday testimony which was mostly a ten-hourtrain wreck.

Mark Meadows: Remarkably, we learned new information today suggesting the DOJ had not notified Lisa Page of Congress' outstanding interview requests for over 7 months now. The DOJ/FBI appear to be continuing their efforts to keep material facts, and perhaps even witnesses, from Congress.

TSA Agents Can Now Grope Travelers Without Fear Of Pesky Lawsuits

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screeners have gained the upper glove when it comes to being sued by travelers subjected to assaults, false arrests or other abuses, thanks to a Wednesday ruling by a federal appeals court.

In a 2-1 decision, the 3rd US Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia ruled that TSA screeners are not "investigative or law enforcement officers," which shields them from liability under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).

While the judges said they were "sympathetic" to concerns that their decision would leave victims of TSA gropings with "very limited legal redress," the panel ultimately concluded that screeners and security personnel are not covered by the law.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Technically, the judges may have been legally correct; but morally right?!?
Heavens, no!!

Anyone who has experienced these gropedowns, as I have, will never forget the feelings of utter violation, about which one is able to do absolutely nothing but smile politely, while in your head, there's a voice screaming, "Don't do anything to make this worse than it already is!!"

This is not about passenger safety; this is about cowing the travelling public into doing any and everything the government wants, and could be called "psychological conditioning", which it its proper name.

Something Rotten About the DOJ Indictment of the GRU by Publius Tacitus

Assistant Attorney General Rosenstein announced a bizarre indictment against Russian military intelligence operatives today that, rather than confirming the case of "Russian meddling" in the U.S. 2016 Presidential election raises more questions. Here are the major oddities:

How did the FBI obtain information about activity on the DNC and DCCC servers when the DNC/DCCC refused to give the Feds access to the servers/computers?

Why does Crowdstrike get credit as being a competent computer security firm when, according to the indictment, they completely and utterly failed to stop the "hacks?"

Why does the indictment refuse to name Wikileaks by name as the Russian collaborator?

Salvini: It Will Take 50 Years To Expel 500,000 Illegal Migrants From Italy

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has spoken out this week against the current rate of migrant deportations in Italy, claiming that it would take 50 years to expel a backlog of 500,00 illegal immigrants unless more than 10,000 migrants are deported per year, reports ANSA.

In an impromptu meeting with other EU officials, he stressed the time sensitivity of the migrant issue.

Although Salvini made clear that he prefers a peaceful resettlement processfor asylum seekers, he leans toward more aggressive deportation procedures after hundreds of additional migrants arriving by boat in the past months have exacerbated problem by overwhelming border control authorities and increasing the backlog.

“If arrivals in Europe are reduced there will be no problem at the internal borders of the EU and we can continue to work peacefully among peoples as we intend to do,” said Salvini, Express reports.

Majority Of Clinton Emails Funneled To "Foreign Entity"; When IG Told Strzok - He Completely Ignored

As we sift through the ashes of Thursday's dumpster-fire Congressional hearing with still employed FBI agent Peter Strzok, Luke Rosiak of the Daily Caller plucked out a key exchange between Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Tx) and Strzok which revealed a yet-unknown bombshell about the Clinton email case.

Nearly all of Hillary Clinton's emails on her homebrew server went to a foreign entity that isn't Russia. When this was discovered by the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG), IG Chuck McCullough sent his investigator Frank Ruckner and an attorney to notify Strzok along with three other people about the "anomaly."

Four separate attempts were also made to notify DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz to brief him on the massive security breach, however Horowitz "never returned the call." Recall that Horowitz concluded last month that despite Strzok's extreme bias towards Hillary Clinton and against Donald Trump - none of it translated to Strzok's work at the FBI.

CHINA takes control of GOLD from the COMEX

The correlation between Gold and the USD/CNY exchange rate has become clear recently. I first cited the idea of Gold being pegged in yuan terms in February, based on the increasingly narrow range in the Gold/yuan (or “XAU/CNY”) exchange rate. I emphasized this, given what it means for Gold in that USD/CNY becomes a primary driver of the price of Gold in dollars. Now it’s mainstream, thanks to the escalating trade war between the U.S. and China, and China’s response in devaluing the yuan by ~8% in 3 months.

In addition, Jim Rickards pointed out his belief last week that Gold is pegged against the IMF’s currency, the Special Drawing Rights (or “SDR”), and that China and the IMF are coordinating to keep the SDR within a range of 850-950 against Gold.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF China is now directly involved in pricing gold, then the US has already lost the economic war before these various dueling sanctions start to bite, and big-time.

This Think Tank is Pushing Regime Change in Iran—and the White House is Listening

The Trump administration is threatening America’s European allies with harsh sanctions—among them, exclusion from a principal component of the global financial system—should they decide to keep doing business with Iran.

In early June, Sigal Mandelker, a previously obscure Justice Department and Homeland Security official now serving as acting deputy secretary of the Treasury Department, spoke before an audience at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), a Washington think tank, and fired a shot across the proverbial bow of European governments and businesses, warning, “Companies doing business in Iran face substantial risks, and those risks are even greater as we reimpose nuclear-related sanctions.”

“We will hold,” said Mandelker, “those doing prohibited business in Iran to account.”

American Jews slam Israel’s ‘racist’ nation-state bill as thousands protest against it in Tel Aviv

Thousands of people have taken to the streets of the Israeli capital in protest against the so-called nation-state bill, which, they say, would enable ethnic segregation. The controversial bill also drew criticism from US Jews.

Demonstrators marched through the streets of Tel Aviv chanting: “Full equality and no less,” “Jews and Arabs refuse to be enemies" and "The nation bill is a disaster," according to witnesses.

"The Nation-State Law would turn racism, discrimination, and segregation into an inescapable part of our lives. More than that – racism and discrimination are becoming desired and central in the State of Israel. The Nation-State Law will bring exclusion and damage to minorities to terrifying levels we have never seen before. Our stance is clear: all citizens –all– are equal,” the organizers of the rally stated, as cited by the Jerusalem Post.

Rosenstein not smiling anymore after House Republican’s spotted with his impeachment docs

Two House Republicans are seeking to file impeachment documents against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as early as Monday, according to Capitol Hill sources who spoke with Politico.

Reps. Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows, both members of the House Freedom Caucus, take issue with both the deputy attorney general’s poor handling of the Russia investigation and his lack of transparency.

Rosenstein, who oversees special counsel Robert Mueller’s scandal-plagued probe into alleged Russian collusion and was the official who named the FBI veteran to lead the probe last year, has repeatedly stonewalled requests from congressional Republicans for access to documents pertaining to the investigation.

Rosenstein has also made brazen attempts to protect FBI agent Peter Strzok, a former Mueller team member who’s been outed as a virulently anti-Trump zealot.

The attorney AG was grilled by Jordan during a heated congressional hearing held late last month.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have a sense that the whole "Russiagate" thing is about to explode like a bad trick cigar in Hillary Clinton's face, and she and her minions like John Podesta, will rue the day they ever hatched this plot, to get rid of Trump before the 2020 elections, so she could stand, unapposed, by any Republican of substance.

And BTW, Friday's indictments will most probably not lead to prosecutions; the timing was simply to put a monkey wrench into the Putin/Trump meeting tomorrow in Helsinki.

The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found an “anomaly on Hillary Clinton’s emails going through their private server, and when they had done the forensic analysis, they found that her emails, every single one except four, over 30,000, were going to an address that was not on the distribution list,” Republican Rep. Saudi Woman May Face Sex Charges, 2 Years In Jail For Hugging Pop Star.

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: A woman may face charges under a new harassment law in Saudi Arabia after storming a stage to hug a pop star, authorities and local media said Sunday.

Israel lobby seeks to erase occupation from Virginia schoolbooks

Human rights activists in Virginia are fighting to protect the quality and accuracy of schoolbooks as Israel advocacy organizations seek substantial changes to the texts. The suggested changes would distort the way Israeli history is depicted, deliberately whitewashing its military occupation and ongoing policies of land theft, apartheid and expulsion of Palestinians. These changes have been proposed to the Virginia Department of Education by the California-based Institute for Curriculum Services - a "strategic initiative" of the Jewish Community Relations Council, an organization with an active Israel lobby. ICS director Aliza Craimer Elias recently boasted in a video interview that her firm works "behind the scenes" with textbook publishers to edit entries about Jews, Judaism and Israel and to train classroom educators with ICS curricula.

A Reg reader this week shared their story of being contacted by an extortionist who claimed to have obtained, through hacking our reader's PC, compromising webcam footage of them engaging in an act of self-love while watching an adult website. No such video existed. Our tipster is also not the only one to receive one of these messages this month.

To help push the scam, the crooks had harvested some low-hanging fruit – a weak password scraped from a hacked forum our reader had frequented. The attacker showed the password to the reader in an attempt to convince them that the miscreant really was a hacker, and to pay up or else.

Looks Like Ticketmaster’s Data Breach Was Worse Than We Thought…

Several weeks ago, Ticketmaster UK revealed that malicious code in software provided by Inbenta – a third-party supplier – led to a data breach. According to the ticketing giant, less than 5% of its global customer base was affected.

That may be a vast understatement.

Magecart, a sophisticated hacking collective, was behind the attack. The group, previously known for hacking websites directly, has now shifted to attacking third-party software components.

Researchers at RiskIQ, a cyber-security company, found Magecart breached two third-party suppliers integrated with Ticketmaster sites – Inbenta and SocialPlus. The hacking collective added to and replaced custom JavaScript code with digital credit card skimmers. Malicious scripts injected into the ticketing giant’s websites could then record credit card payment details entered by customers.

Students in Nicaragua trapped in church amid gunfire by pro-government militias

Dozens of Nicaraguan university students remained trapped inside a Catholic church early Saturday as pro-government militias fired for hours overnight in the vicinity of the church and police sealed off the neighborhood.

The students — along with priests, doctors, journalists, and other civilians — spent a harrowing evening under siege inside the Church of the Divine Mercy, hemmed in by gunfire. At least seven injuries were reported, primarily gunshot wounds. Late Friday, police permitted one convoy of ambulances to drive the wounded to a nearby hospital but kept the rest of the students penned inside.

Israel’s defence minister calls for closure of Dublin embassy

Israel’s defence minister has called on his country to close its embassy in Dublin in response to the Seanad backing a Bill banning the import of goods from West Bank Jewish settlements.

Ireland’s Ambassador to Israel, Alison Kelly, was yesterday summoned to the country’s foreign ministry to be told of its displeasure over the progress of the Control of Economic Activity (Occupied Territories) Bill 2018.

Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon said, “The Irish Senate has lent a hand to a populist, dangerous and extreme anti-Israel boycott initiative, effectively undermining the dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians.

HUFFPOST GERMANY WRITER CALLS FOR REPLACING GERMANS WITH MIGRANTS TO STOP POPULISM

A writer for Huffington Post Germany has openly called for German citizens to be replaced with foreign migrants in order to stop the rise of populism.

The article, which was posted on Monday, is entitled Repeople us! Why the German people should be abolished (translation) .

Writer Veit Lindner asserts that to stop the momentum of the “new right,” “it would actually be best to just replace” the German people with foreigners.

“Attention, Germans! Fall in for comprehensive repeopling!” he writes, before going on to welcome, “Black, brown, yellow, white, Asians and Arabs, Africans, you people from America, India, people of all faiths – come and help us! Stream in and repeople us, but thoroughly!”

YouTube Censorship Really Hits Home

A couple of weeks ago the opportunity came up for me to send someone an example of the joint handiwork of the Cheverly Brothers and me, the song parody, “Drones.” The quick and easy way to find it, I figured, would be to first locate the lyrics in my poetry archive and then to click on the link for hearing it performed on YouTube. Here is what turned up when I did so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pfzg4NfV9a4&feature=youtu.be.

The indictment is otherwise pointless as the Russian government will certainly not turn over its military personnel to a Washington kangaroo court. The indictment serves no purpose except to poison the atmosphere of the summit.
